Return to Jesus

Above: Eric W. King invites you!

Come back to the Lord while there is still time!

There is no time to waste. Are you trying to find the peace that you need by the way you eat? by your relationships with other people? through alcohol or drugs? through some kind of music? through philosophy or pseudo psychology? through man made ideas and "new age" beliefs? STOP!

Are you depressed? Are you in debt? Have you gone through divorce or divorces? Have your friends and family left you because of your bad choices in life? Don't have money or a job? Okay. You are normal. Now it is time to find the answer to all of our pains and failures. It is time to come to the Lord Jesus Christ even if you once believed and have given up...you are now being called back to the true Shepherd. Receive His love and forgiveness, receive His healing power today. Talk to Him.

Listen, Learn, Pray

Dear Lord Jesus,
I believe you are the Son of God and Savior of the world.
I believe that you died on the cross for me and bore all of my sins, taking the punishment I deserved.
I believe that you were resurrected from the dead so that I might have eternal life.
Jesus, I turn from trusting in myself to trusting in you alone.
Forgive me, save me, and come to live inside of me.
I repent of my sins and ask you to help me turn from them.
I need your righteousness and I want to be born again.
In your Holy Name I pray Jesus,
Amen.

  1. Realize that you can't base life on your emotions

Christians base life on truth, not feelings. Philippians 4:1 commands us to rejoice (whether we feel like it or not!). And James 1:2 asks us to “Consider it all joy when we fall into various trials.” Notice that James doesn't tell us to feel joyful; he tells us to reckon, to choose to think about your situation as a spot where you can have joy.

  2. "In my personal search through many religions and spiritual movements I have always found myself returning to the simplicity of my first love, Jesus Christ. Humans have the tendency to run from God when they do not like what He is trying to tell them. We all try and do things our own way, we make our own religion up. It seems easier that way. The fact is, when we do this it is a sign that we have not truly yet experienced the undeserved and eternal love of Jesus Christ. Some where along the journey we got lost. Won't you take time out to look again and read and see and experience the love of our Creator?" ~ Brother Eric William King

  3. Forgiveness of others. Another requirement for forgiveness of sins in that we forgive others. 1 Corinthians 13:5 says that “real love keeps no record of wrongs.” Remember that Proverbs 17:9 tells us that a real friend will forgive. God has also made forgiving others a requirement for receiving His forgiveness.

“For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” (Matthew 6:14-15)

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

Don't waste your life

It is an obvious rule of life that any action which achieves nothing is futile and meaningless. A goodness which achieves no end would ...
